Music habits can change your mental state
I am not a doctor. I am a music curator. In 2020, in the prime of the lockdown, I figured I joined the list of people who would click just about anything on the internet to cure the bore down.
Yes bore down was getting to everyone I knew. We explored playing almost every movie category on Netflix Technology Blog . One watch, one episode and then ditch the series. Some movies had predictability all around what they were about. On @instagram my favourite people did not have much new stuff to keep me going.
I found one of my favourite songs and put it up on a loop play; non-stop playback of a song that suited any mood within the lockdown apartment; it did not matter if I was in briefs or frying vegetables from the fridge as a food experiment. I played music so much across all genres and then I stumbled on the idea of what would happen if I could play 50 of my favourite songs in 60 minutes; something to #KeepVibing I called up my good friend @deejay_proo and he sent a real mixtape of curated Nigerian songs.
I am a hybrid of media, technology and business; so I created a curated music channel on the internet called Vibing Live Vibing Live . In few weeks we started to get up to 6,000 people from across the world including from major cities Abuja, Lagos, New York, London, Washington, Berlin… nodding and probably killing bored and saving their mental health with music that is familiar and full of surprises
This is where we now begin.
In few weeks our app will be released on Google Play and iOs stores with streaming options for DJ music available in Club — Vibing Live, Vibing Gospel and Vibing Talk.
VIBING is a multi-stream creative audio content platform that promotes curated music and talks accessible globally. Vibing provides platform musicians, DJs, podcasters & thought leaders with content focused on Nigeria and Africa. It’s available as a freemium app with scheduled paid features in its programming.

Vibing allows you to stay at home and enjoy party music on an unarguably new station music format of DJ mix. Vibing plays about 50 songs every hour, the average radio station plays 24 songs in 60 minutes.
