Spotify, Boom, Apple Music, and Youtube Music are facing a sideline tackle courtesy of a banking directive by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and implemented by leading banks in Nigeria.
Debit cards from banks in Nigeria and a good number of virtual cards provided by Chipper, FlutterWave and some others can’t provide currency exchange (naira to dollar direction) in recent times. So suddenly regular subscription to listen to #AfroBeats and other genres of up 82 million songs is not working on most phones but Nigeria songs are now in a mix on VibingLIVE
